Mason

Mason is an actor / vocalist / bonafide a cappella pro based in Queens. In addition to VICE, she sings with BLACKOUT and Chasing Saturn. Mason is an award-winning a cappella choreographer and alumna of the University of Michigan's Amazin' Blue, with whom she was an ICCA finalist. Outside of performing, she serves as a clinician for scholastic groups across the nation. She is an avid reader, proud Michigan native, and devoted cat mom.

Denise
Nalibotsky
Co-Founder,
Music & Finance Director
Denise is the resident vocal percussionist of VICE, earning the Outstanding Vocal Percussion recognition at Varsity Vocals’ 2019 Open competition. She is an internationally-ranked competitive beatboxer, and was the only woman to compete in the Solo Category at the past two American Beatbox Championships. Denise works to break gender stereotypes in beatboxing and encourages more women to join the community.

Karine
Bruce-Doe

Brand & Culture Director
Karine sings all things bass and alto, arranges, and is the resident comms guru of VICE! She's a graduate of New York University, where she served as Music Director of the NYU Cleftomaniacs, as well as a reputable backing vocalist for various NYC artists. Outside of VICE, she merges her Ghanaian cultural background and loves of humanitarian work + community building within the fashion and data analytics industries.

Miranda
Commisso

Rehearsal & Content Director
Miranda is a music educator, ethnomusicologist and vocalist. She currently works for the NYC Department of Education, teaching general music and chorus to students age K-5; she also graduated from New York University, where she served as the NYU Cleftomaniacs' Assistant Music Director. Although she loves teaching, Miranda is happy she can continue her own performance ventures with VICE.

Adriana
Ellis
(she/her)
is an actor and vocalist living in NYC. She has been singing with VICE since the fall of 2022. Adriana received her BM in Vocal Performance from the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music. She is also a graduate of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, where she completed the 3-year Professional Conservatory program. Adriana strives to merge her love of storytelling with musical performance.

Bren
Stace
(she/her)
is an award-winning vocal percussionist, composer/arranger, and vocalist. She received her Masters in Music Composition from Binghamton University, where she also won Outstanding Vocal Percussionist in the 2020 ICCA Regional Quarterfinals. Bren is passionate about helping others learn more about beatboxing, working with first-time and advanced beatboxers alike to help hone their craft and set them up for success.

Patience
Ojionuka
(she/they)
is a Virgo sun and Gemini moon originally from Texas, where she got her Bachelors in Psychology. Patience was awarded Outstanding Soloist in the 2020 ICCA Regional Semifinals as part if UT's award winning co-ed group One Note Stand, and now serves as an alto for VICE! Outside of music, Patience is a clinical psychology doctoral student and professional photographer.

Jenna
Camacho
(she/her)
is a vocalist, music educator and a cappella enthusiast based in Philadelphia. She developed her love for female a cappella through singing with and music directing Cape Harmony (Cape Cod’s professional female a cappella group) and Singchronize (Temple University’s treble a cappella group). She is very happy to be back in an a cappella group and enjoys making music with VICE!

Blake Thompson
(she/her)
is an actor, vocalist, and a cappella nerd from San Francisco, CA. She recently moved back to the U.S. from the UK, where she co-founded the award-winning group LowKey and was mentored by the father of a cappella himself, Deke Sharon. Blake is a huge advocate for hobbies and having a 5-9 beyond a 9-5; outside of a cappella, Blake is an event coordinator and marketer!

Sara
Goldman
(she/her)
is a licensed esthetician from Long Island, NY and based in the UES. Her performance debut began at 8 years old with Seussical the Musical. In her college a cappella group, The Potsdam Pitches, she soloed at the 2018 ICCA Finals at the Beacon Theatre. She is thrilled to be a part of VICE and surrounded by fellow talented vocalists. Outside of music, Sara has built a career in the beauty world, formerly as a MAC Makeup Artist and currently as an Ulta Beauty Benefit Brow Artist.

Kyra
Lamartine
(she/her)
is a singer / actress originally from southeast Iowa, living out her dream in NYC. Her love of performing was discovered through local fair talent shows and show choir, and it led to her earning a BFA in Musical Theatre from Millikin University. When she is not working in the arts, she is perfecting her latest paint-by-number or going on a hike outside the city. She is thrilled to be involved with such an incredible and supportive community!
